Amnesia Haze
Sativa
20% – 25% (Phenotypes can reach up to 28%)

Amnesia Haze or Sativa is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 20% – 25% (Phenotypes can reach up to 28%) and CBD levels ranging from ~0.1% – 1.0%. Known for its Zesty Lemon, Earthy, Spicy/Pepper, Sweet Citrus profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being Tall (4–6+ ft); can triple in size during the "flower stretch" in height, with a nutrient demand that is Moderate; sensitive to overfeeding (especially Nitrogen in flower).
This Sativa is of the Genetype: South Asian Landrace x Jamaican Landrace x Thai x Afghani x Hawaiian. The Amnesia Haze strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.
The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Amnesia Haze in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Sativa is 6.0 – 6.5 and 5.5 – 6.0 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Amnesia Haze needs to maintain a target temperature of 70°F – 85°F (21°C – 29°C) for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 60% – 70%, the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Sativa growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Amnesia Haze needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Amnesia Haze is 18/6 or 20/4 Cycle for the first cycle, which should last .
The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Amnesia Haze will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 70°F – 78°F (21°C – 25°C) is maintained and a target humidity of 50% – 55% is achieved, the Sativa will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This South Asian Landrace x Jamaican Landrace x Thai x Afghani x Hawaiian is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 12/12 Cycle for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Amnesia Haze is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered Excellent; Required (Topping, LST, and SCROG are highly recommended).
The most exciting phase, when growing South Asian Landrace x Jamaican Landrace x Thai x Afghani x Hawaiian is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Amnesia Haze will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12 Cycle. Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 65°F – 75°F (18°C – 24°C) and 40% – 45% (Critical to avoid bud rot in dense colas) so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.
You will know the Amnesia Haze is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Sativa with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Lanky, long branches, high calyx-to-leaf ratio, very resinous
Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Field Notes
The Sativa Stretch: Amnesia Haze is notorious for its vertical growth. If you are growing in a tent, you must flip to flower earlier than usual (at about 1/3 of your total height capacity) or use a SCROG (Screen of Green) to keep the canopy horizontal.
Patience is Profit: This is a long-flowering strain (10–13 weeks). Many hobbyists harvest too early. The buds "bulk up" significantly in the final 2 weeks; wait until at least 70% of the pistils have turned orange/brown.
Sensitivity to Nutrients: Unlike heavy-feeding Indicas, Amnesia Haze can be sensitive to "Nutrient Burn." Start your nutrients at 50% strength and increase slowly. In late flower, focus on Phosphorus and Potassium, but dial back Nitrogen to avoid "the claw" (downward leaf curling).
Pest and Mold Alert: Because of the long flowering time and dense bud structure, this strain is susceptible to spider mites and bud rot. Ensure high-quality airflow with multiple oscillating fans and keep late-stage humidity strictly below 45%.
Lineage: Multi-landrace Haze cross x Afghani Hawaiian
Breeder: Soma Seeds (Original)
Primary Terpenes: Limonene, Myrcene, Beta-Caryophyllene
