Hybrid

25% – 27%

Blue Lobster or Hybrid is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 25% – 27% and CBD levels ranging from < 1%. Known for its High THC (Fruity) profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being Medium (approx. 4.5 – 5 ft / 1.5m); compact and bushy indoors in height, with a nutrient demand that is Moderate; prefers nitrogen-forward (3-1-2) in veg and extra Ca-Mg.

This Hybrid is of the Genetype: Photoperiod (Feminized and S1 versions available). The Blue Lobster strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.

The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Blue Lobster in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Hybrid is 6.2 – 6.8 and 5.8 – 6.0 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Blue Lobster needs to maintain a target temperature of 75°F – 82°F (24°C – 28°C) for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 60% – 70% RH, the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Hybrid growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Blue Lobster needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Blue Lobster is 18/6 (On/Off) for the first cycle, which should last .

The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Blue Lobster will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 70°F – 80°F (21°C – 27°C) is maintained and a target humidity of 50% – 60% RH is achieved, the Hybrid will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This Photoperiod (Feminized and S1 versions available) is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 12/12 (On/Off) for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Blue Lobster is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered High; responds well to topping at the 5th node, LST, and SCROG.

The most exciting phase, when growing Photoperiod (Feminized and S1 versions available) is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Blue Lobster will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12 (On/Off). Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 65°F – 72°F (18°C – 22°C) and 35% – 45% RH (Crucial for dense bud health) so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.

You will know the Blue Lobster is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Hybrid with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Sturdy, bushy structure with moderate internodal spacing and 1.5x–2x stretch

Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Notes
The "Lobster" Look: To achieve the signature "lobster shell" coloration (vibrant blues and deep purples), you should focus on dropping your "lights-off" temperatures in Phase 3. A 10–15°F drop during the night cycles in the final two weeks helps trigger anthocyanin production.

Stretch Management: Blue Lobster has a predictable stretch (roughly doubling in size). If growing in a height-restricted tent, flip to flower when the canopy occupies about 60% of your available vertical space.

Airflow & Defoliation: Because the buds are exceptionally dense and resinous, airflow is your best friend. Defoliate at Day 21 of flower to clear out the "middle" of the plant, ensuring light reaches the lower sites and air prevents stagnant pockets that lead to mold.

Feeding Tip: It appreciates a steady supply of Calcium and Magnesium throughout the mid-flower phase to support the heavy resin production.
