Cheddar Cheeze
Indica Hybrid
18% – 22%

Cheddar Cheeze or Indica Hybrid is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 18% – 22% and CBD levels ranging from < 1%. Known for its Sharp Cheddar, Earthy Musk, Skunk, Savory Funk profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being 3.5 – 5 ft (Responds well to height control) in height, with a nutrient demand that is Moderate (Steady feeder, doesn't like salt buildup).
This Indica Hybrid is of the Genetype: Photoperiod. The Cheddar Cheeze strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.
The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Cheddar Cheeze in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Indica Hybrid is 6.2 – 6.8 and 5.6 – 6.2 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Cheddar Cheeze needs to maintain a target temperature of 72°F – 82°F for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 65% – 70%, the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Indica Hybrid growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Cheddar Cheeze needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Cheddar Cheeze is 18/6 for the first cycle, which should last .
The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Cheddar Cheeze will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 70°F – 78°F is maintained and a target humidity of 50% – 55% is achieved, the Indica Hybrid will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This Photoperiod is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 12/12 for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Cheddar Cheeze is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered High (Excellent for Topping, LST, and ScROG).
The most exciting phase, when growing Photoperiod is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Cheddar Cheeze will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12. Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 65°F – 75°F and 40% – 45% so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.
You will know the Cheddar Cheeze is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Indica Hybrid with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Bushy and branchy; produces "golf ball" sized dense nuggets.
Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Notes
The Smell Factor: I cannot stress this enough—this strain is aggressively pungent. From mid-veg onwards, the "cheesy" smell is detectable. Check your carbon filters early.
Structure & Support: Because of the Biker Leche in its lineage, it has decent lateral branching. However, the buds get surprisingly heavy for their size. Use bamboo stakes or a trellis net during Phase 2 to prevent "leaning" in Phase 3.
Humidity Sensitivity: The buds are dense and "greasy." Keep that Phase 3 humidity strictly below 45% to prevent internal bud rot (Botrytis), as the savory terpenes can sometimes mask the early smell of mold.
The "Cheese" Fade: Expect the leaves to transition to a lighter lime green or even pale yellow towards the very end. This is normal for this lineage and usually signals that the savory profile is peaking.
Lineage: (UK Cheese x Cheese) x (Exodus Cheese x Biker Leche)
Breeder: Concrete Jungle Seeds
Primary Terpenes: Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Limonene
