Garlic Budder
Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa)
28% – 32% (Extreme Potency)

Garlic Budder or Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 28% – 32% (Extreme Potency) and CBD levels ranging from Low (<1%). Known for its Savory black garlic, creamy room-temperature butter, and toasted nuts profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being Medium-Tall (4 – 6 feet); can stretch significantly in early flower in height, with a nutrient demand that is Moderate to High; benefits from a Phosphorus (P) boost in mid-flower.
This Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) is of the Genetype: Indica-dominant. The Garlic Budder strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.
The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Garlic Budder in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) is 6.0 – 6.8 and 5.5 – 6.0 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Garlic Budder needs to maintain a target temperature of 70°F – 85°F (21°C – 29°C) for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 50% – 60% RH, the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Garlic Budder needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Garlic Budder is 18/6 or 20/4 for the first cycle, which should last .
The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Garlic Budder will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 68°F – 78°F (Early to Mid-Flower) is maintained and a target humidity of 40% – 50% RH is achieved, the Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This Indica-dominant is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 12/12 for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Garlic Budder is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered Excellent; highly recommended for SCROG, Topping, and LST.
The most exciting phase, when growing Indica-dominant is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Garlic Budder will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12. Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 64°F – 75°F (Late Flower/Ripening) and 35% – 40% RH (Critical for density management) so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.
You will know the Garlic Budder is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Indica-dominant Hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Vigorous, bushy growth with tight internodal spacing and "dipped-in-resin" buds
Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Strategy Notes
The Density Warning: Garlic Budder produces "rock-hard" buds. Because of this density, the risk of Botrytis (Bud Rot) is higher than average in the final weeks. Keep your airflow high and your Phase 3 humidity strictly below 45%.
The Stretch: While it has an Indica growth pattern, the GMO lineage can cause a surprising "stretch" when you flip to flower. Ensure you have at least 2 feet of vertical clearance between your canopy and lights before the flip.
Aroma Management: This is not a "stealth" strain. The garlic and gas notes are incredibly pungent. If you are growing in a residential area, ensure your exhaust system is well-filtered before the plants hit Week 4 of flower.
Extraction Potential: This strain is a "top-tier washer." If you enjoy making bubble hash or rosin, Garlic Budder is a standout choice due to the sheer volume and size of its trichomes.
