Gush Mints or Indica-dominant Hybrid (approx. 70/30) is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 24% – 30% (Can test up to 34% in ideal conditions) and CBD levels ranging from < 1%. Known for its Sweet Mint, Gassy Diesel, Earthy Spice, Creamy Cookies profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being Medium to Tall (4–5 feet; high vigor) in height, with a nutrient demand that is High (Heavy feeder; prefers high N-P-K levels).

This Indica-dominant Hybrid (approx. 70/30) is of the Genetype: Feminized Photoperiod. The Gush Mints strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.

The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Gush Mints in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Indica-dominant Hybrid (approx. 70/30) is 6.0 – 7.0 and 5.5 – 6.5 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Gush Mints needs to maintain a target temperature of 70°F – 85°F (21°C – 29°C) for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 45% – 60%, the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Indica-dominant Hybrid (approx. 70/30) growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Gush Mints needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Gush Mints is 18/6 or 20/4 for the first cycle, which should last .

The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Gush Mints will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 65°F – 80°F (18°C – 27°C) is maintained and a target humidity of 40% – 50% is achieved, the Indica-dominant Hybrid (approx. 70/30) will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This Feminized Photoperiod is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 12/12 for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Gush Mints is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered High (Responds well to Topping, LST, and Trellising).

The most exciting phase, when growing Feminized Photoperiod is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Gush Mints will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12. Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 60°F – 75°F (Drop temps at night to 60°F for purple hues) and 30% – 40% (Crucial to prevent mold in dense buds) so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.

You will know the Gush Mints is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Indica-dominant Hybrid (approx. 70/30) with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Explosive growth; elongated internodes; sturdy but needs support.

Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Insights
Stretch Warning: Gush Mints has a reputation for "explosive growth." Hobbyists should be prepared for a significant stretch once flipped to flower. Using a SCROG (Screen of Green) net is highly recommended to manage the height and support the heavy, spear-like colas.

Color Development: To bring out the signature deep purples and "frosty" appearance, try to drop your nighttime temperatures by about 10-15°F during the final 2-3 weeks of flowering.

Feeding Strategy: This is a "hungry" strain. It can handle higher EC (Electrical Conductivity) levels than more sensitive sativas, so don't be afraid to push the nutrients during the peak of the flowering phase.
Lineage: Kush Mints x (F1 Durb x Gushers)
Breeder: Purple City Genetics
Primary Terpenes: Limonene, Caryophyllene, Myrcene
