25% – 29% (Up to 32% in optimized setups)

Jenny Kush or Sativa-dominant Hybrid is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 25% – 29% (Up to 32% in optimized setups) and CBD levels ranging from < 1% (Trace-level, approx. 0.1%). Known for its Sweet Citrus, Earthy Pine, Tropical Fruit profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being Medium to Tall (Expect significant "Haze stretch") in height, with a nutrient demand that is Moderate to Heavy (Benefits from extra Silica/Cal-Mag).

This Sativa-dominant Hybrid is of the Genetype: ~60% Sativa / 40% Indica. The Jenny Kush strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.

The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Jenny Kush in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Sativa-dominant Hybrid is 6.0 – 7.0 and 5.5 – 6.5 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Jenny Kush needs to maintain a target temperature of 75°F – 82°F (24°C – 28°C) for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 65% – 75% RH, the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Sativa-dominant Hybrid growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Jenny Kush needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Jenny Kush is 18/6 for the first cycle, which should last .

The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Jenny Kush will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 70°F – 78°F (21°C – 25°C) is maintained and a target humidity of 50% – 60% RH is achieved, the Sativa-dominant Hybrid will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This ~60% Sativa / 40% Indica is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 18/6 for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Jenny Kush is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered High (Highly responsive to Topping and Scrog).

The most exciting phase, when growing ~60% Sativa / 40% Indica is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Jenny Kush will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12. Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 65°F – 75°F (18°C – 24°C) and 40% – 50% (Drop to 35% in last 2 weeks) so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.

You will know the Jenny Kush is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Sativa-dominant Hybrid with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Vigorous vertical growth; oily, resinous secondary leaves

Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Strategy Notes
Manage the Stretch: Because of the Amnesia Haze lineage, Jenny Kush can double or even triple in size during the first three weeks of flowering. Topping early and using a Scrog (Screen of Green) net is almost mandatory for indoor growers with limited vertical space.

Resin Management: This strain produces "oily" resin that often extends onto the fan leaves. If you are a hobbyist who enjoys making hash or rosin, do not discard the "sugar leaves"—they are exceptionally potent.

Airflow is Key: While generally resilient, the buds can become quite dense towards the end of its 60–70 day flowering cycle. Keep your Phase 3 humidity strictly below 45% in the final weeks to prevent any risk of bud rot in the larger colas.

Coloration: To bring out the darker green and occasional purple hues, try to maintain a 10°F (approx. 5.5°C) difference between day and night temperatures during the final two weeks of flower.
