Joanne's CBD or Feminized Photoperiod is a strain that typically contains THC levels between 0.25% – 0.75% and CBD levels ranging from 13% – 18%. Known for its Therapeutic / Non-psychoactive profile, this strain has a growth expectation of being Indoor: 80–120 cm | Outdoor: 140–180 cm in height, with a nutrient demand that is Moderate; responds well to organic living soil.

This Feminized Photoperiod is of the Genetype: Sativa-dominant Hybrid (approx. 75% Sativa / 25% Indica). The Joanne's CBD strain has 3 phases of the growing cycle.

The first phase is the Seedling Phase. Once you have decided to grow Joanne's CBD in either soil or hydroponiclay, the ph levels need to be monitored. The ph level desired by Feminized Photoperiod is 6.0 – 7.0 and 5.5 – 6.5 hydroponically. During this infancy stage, Joanne's CBD needs to maintain a target temperature of 21°C – 29°C (70°F – 85°F) for 2 to 3 weeks. Once the seed germinates, it will sprout it's first set of round leaves, or the cotyledons. If you are able to maintain the target humidity of 45% – 55% (Start high at 65% for seedlings, then taper), the iconic serrated leaves will just begin to show themselves. During this critical Phase 1 of the Feminized Photoperiod growing cycle the plant is establishing a strong root sytem. Beginners often over water these fragile seedlings. Do not drown your seeds. You seedling Joanne's CBD needs care and gentle light. The recommended light cycle for growing Joanne's CBD is 18/6 or 24/0 for the first cycle, which should last .

The next is the Vegetative Phase. The Joanne's CBD will focus entirely on size and structural integity. The temperature needs also change for phase 2. If a target temperature of 18°C – 26°C (65°F – 80°F) is maintained and a target humidity of 40% – 50% is achieved, the Feminized Photoperiod will grow stems, branches and plenty of large fan leaves. This Sativa-dominant Hybrid (approx. 75% Sativa / 25% Indica) is trying to build it's own solar panel of leaves to absorb energy. It is critical to maintain a proper light cycle of 12/12 for the entire phase 2 schedule. This consistent energy will help plant grow bigger without producing flowers, focusing it's energy on growing tall and strong. Joanne's CBD is at it's most resilient and may grow quickly. As phase 2 comes to an end, it may be topped or tied down, as it's training suitability is considered High (Highly recommended for LST, Topping, and Pruning).

The most exciting phase, when growing Sativa-dominant Hybrid (approx. 75% Sativa / 25% Indica) is the Flowering Phase. The plants adulthood lasts . It is at this phase that the light cycle changes for the last time. Joanne's CBD will produce the most flowers when the light cycle is 12/12. Keep the temperature and humity controlled at 18°C – 24°C (64°F – 75°F) and 30% – 40% so you can really watch this plant strecth and almost double in height. It will want to start producing early into the flowering process.

You will know the Joanne's CBD is ready when the white hairs (pistils) turn amber/brown and the resin glands (trichomes) look milky or cloudy, rather than clear. Cutting the plant down even a week too early can significantly reduce the potency and weight of your harvest. Patience in the flowering phase will provide the best possible outomce of Feminized Photoperiod with a desired gorwth profile that will be:
Bushy structure with thin, Sativa-like leaflets

Growers Notes: Hobby Grower’s Insights
Training is Key: Because of its Session lineage, this strain can stretch significantly. If you are growing in a height-restricted tent, use LST (Low-Stress Training) early to create a flat canopy.

The "Clear" Effect: This is a "workday" strain. It provides the physiological relaxation of cannabis without the "stone," making it perfect for growers who want medicine that doesn't interfere with productivity.

Aroma Management: During Phase 2, the scent is a heavy mix of sweet orange and citrus. Ensure your carbon filters are fresh, as the limonene and valencene levels are pungent.
Lineage: Juanita la Lagrimosa x Session
Breeder: Royal Queen Seeds (RQS)
Primary Terpenes: Myrcene, Limonene, Caryophyllene, Valencene
